Minutes of last meeting- Debra Morrow moved to wave, Chris Dimitrakopoulos seconded- called as a standing motion to accept the minutes without reading -all in favor.

Old Business
Lil Jones -Report on property at 540 Lomita. At the present time we have a report back from Planning and Zoning concerning the debris on the property, accompanied by pictures They determined the amount of debris is not out of line. We don't know yet about their investigation of the automotive business that may be going on there. But it is our understanding that the resident has reopened his business on the main street of town and this might solve the problem. Lillian Von Rago reported that the homeowner has 60 days to remove any cars over 2 that may be stored on the property. The 60 days will expire on June 30th, 2007.
New Business
Debra Morrow - Reported on the status of Rabies in Ajo. There have been 3 people bitten/scratched. One bobcat was killed and one bobcat is still at large. Any scratch by wildlife should be reported to Animal Control.
Chris Dimitrakopoulos reported that there is no Rabies Vaccine in Ajo. People should go to an emergency room in Phoenix or Tucson. She recommended the CDC website for more information.
Ken Freese relayed his experience with Rabies in the past.
Mary Kralovec described normal wildlife behavior vs. Rabid behavior.
Speakers
Lillian Von Rago - gave information about the Pima County Block Grants given to the Desert Senita Community Clinic, Ajo Food Bank and ISDA. This is the last WPCCC meeting for her as she is leaving Sharon Bronson's office.
PCSO Sgt Holt - answered questions about assorted local issues - ATV's - recommended getting pictures or license plates of offenders. Local speeders and Deputies speeding w/o lights & sirens.
Greg Gentsch- ADOT Engineer regarding speed limits there will be a traffic speed study done. Persons with incidents on the highway should give a synopsis to Chris Dimitrakopoulos and she will submit them to ADOT. The crosswalk requests will be looked into.
